At The Creative Coop, creativity starts early… and grows fast. We offer a wide variety of sewing and creative classes designed especially for kids and teens. These classes are foundation built with a fun, hands-on approach where students learn real skills while completing projects they’re genuinely proud of. Under Barbara Jean’s guidance, it’s not uncommon to see beginner students creating projects that leave everyone saying, “Wait… they made that?!” Learning Through Creating Our classes focus on building confidence, creativity, and skill—all while keeping things engaging and fun. Every student leaves with finished projects and a sense of accomplishment that keeps them coming back for more.
Our Kids Camps are offered during summer and winter break, each featuring a unique and engaging theme with completely different projects—so no repeats, even for returning campers. All camps are fully inclusive Students are encouraged to bring their own sewing machines for comfort and familiarity whenever possible. A limited number of studio machines are available if needed. These camps are incredibly popular and tend to fill quickly, so be sure to watch for registration openings each May.
Teens (16+) are welcome to join our adult classes, as well as participate in teen group classes and private sessions designed just for them. These options provide opportunities for both independent growth and peer-based learning in a supportive, creative environment.
